U.S. Ski & Snowboard President, CEO and Parkite Sophie Goldschmidt has been named on CNBC’s 2026 Changemakers list.

Now in its third year, Changemakers recognizes women transforming business in various areas, including energy, financial services, health care, retail, technology and sports.

“I am grateful for the recognition by the CNBC Changemakers team, which I also see as recognition of my colleagues at U.S. Ski & Snowboard,” Goldschmidt said. “It’s a privilege to be on this list with so many amazing women whom I admire. Throughout my career, I have seen how important it is to evolve, challenge the status quo, remain ambitious and to also give people opportunities. This past Olympic and Paralympic season was very successful, and we’re going to continue working hard to keep the momentum going.”

Goldschmidt is named alongside other influential leaders. The full list is available online at tinyurl.com/3br62e6h.

Goldschmidt increased revenue by more than 90% over the past four years since she took the role, the organization said, while supporting 250-plus athletes across 11 sports she oversees — up from six sports when she started. Goldschmidt has also doubled the number of World Cup events in the United States during her tenure. This is in addition to broadly expanding the profile of the athletes and the brand through various initiatives, including content such as On The Edge, a new docuseries focusing on the FIS Alpine World Cup circuit, which is available on ESPN and Disney+.

At the 2026 Winter Olympic Games in Milano Cortina, U.S. Ski & Snowboard athletes represented more than 40% of Team USA and earned more than half of the nation’s total medals. At the Paralympic Winter Games, 32 U.S. Ski & Snowboard athletes represented Team USA, winning eight medals. Goldschmidt also recently led the integration of the U.S. Para Nordic Ski Team, bringing all Para snow sports under U.S. Ski & Snowboard.

Throughout her career, Goldschmidt has been recognized by Forbes and Adweek’s Most Powerful Women in Sport, Sports Business Journal’s Power Players in Women’s Sports, Forty Under Forty and the Leaders in Sport Under 40 Award, among others.
