Villanova Basketball’s Eric Dixon might not have heard his name called during the 2025 NBA Draft, but it didn’t take long for him to land a deal and an opportunity to make the jump.
Shortly after the 2025 NBA Draft ended on Thursday night, Dixon landed a deal with the Los Angeles Lakers, per ESPN’s Shams Charania.
The Wildcats standout led college basketball by averaging 23.3 points per game. he racked up 2,314 points over his five years at Villanova, surpassing the record set by Kerry Kittles to become Villanova’s all-time leading scorer. He also averaged 5.1 boards and 1.9 assists per game this past season. He also shot 40.7% from beyond the arc.
