UCF football is in danger of missing a bowl game for the first time since 2015. The path to bowl eligibility starts today at West Virginia, a team one win away from reaching that goal.
The Knights are 4-6 (2-5 in Big 12) and coming off a bye. Star running back RJ Harvey has totaled more than 100 yards in every game this season, running for 127 yards and three touchdowns in a 35-31 loss at Arizona State two weeks ago. Freshman quarterback Dylan Rizk threw for 229 yards and an interception.
West Virginia (5-5, 4-3) lost its third straight home game last week, falling 49-35 to Baylor. Quarterback Garrett Greene has thrown for 1,589 yards and 11 touchdowns this season, but he and running back Jarrett White form a dynamic rushing attack with both running for 600 yards and five TDs.
