Damien Diggs, former U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Texas, has joined the litigation department at Winston & Strawn as a partner in Dallas and a member of its government investigations, enforcement and compliance practice.
Diggs, who was nominated by former President Joe Biden, became the U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District in May 2023, and he resigned as of Jan. 21, after Donald Trump was sworn in as president. He joined Winston & Strawn on Tuesday.
