LAINGSBURG — Local Roots Cannabis Company will celebrate its fifth anniversary with a customer appreciation weekend April 18-20 at its locations in Laingsburg and Perry.
According to a press release from Local Roots, the family-owned business plans to offer buy-one-get-one deals, discounts and giveaways throughout the weekend, culminating on April 20 with a promotion in which the first 100 customers making a qualifying purchase will receive premium gift bags.
Since opening in Laingsburg in 2021, the company has focused on providing cannabis products while maintaining community involvement, including sponsoring local events and hosting an annual Thanksgiving turkey giveaway.
“We are doing some of the biggest deals we’ve ever done, and (April 20) is going to be extra special. It’s our way of saying thanks,” co-owner Roy Liskey said in the release.
Roy Liskey and co-owner Ronda Liskey said they are grateful for community support over the past five years and emphasized the business’ commitment to customer service and local engagement.
The company opened a second location in Perry last summer and said it plans to continue expanding its presence while navigating an evolving cannabis industry marked by increased competition and regulatory changes.
