The University of Colorado Law School has been named a top law school for technology law by National Jurist, a leading resource for aspiring and current law students.
Colorado Law earned an A+ rating in August 2026 and a spot on the publication’s Technology Law Honor Roll for its efforts to prepare students for careers pairing tech fluency with legal judgment.
“Colorado Law has a long history of excellence in law at the intersection of tech, telecommunications, data privacy, policy and society,” said Dean Lolita Buckner Inniss. “Our students, faculty and staff continue to push the boundaries and advance legal thinking in technology law.”
The school has developed one of the nation’s most comprehensive legal programs oriented around technology, with particular strengths in privacy, artificial intelligence, intellectual property and entrepreneurship.
In addition to timely and relevant courses led by top faculty, Colorado Law also offers students access to events, programs and speakers offered by the interdisciplinary Silicon Flatirons Center for Law, Technology and Entrepreneurship.
Students also gain firsthand experience through the Samuelson-Glushko Technology Law & Policy Clinic, the Colorado Technology Law Journal and numerous student organizations.
