The Chicago Bears and PNC Bank announced That’s Caring, a purpose-driven corporate gifting company based in Elk Grove Village, Ill., as the second of four small businesses selected as part of the 2026 Small Business All-Pros, presented by PNC. From Oct. 20 through Nov. 16, the Bears will spotlight That’s Caring across their digital, social and marketing channels, with additional exposure on gamedays at Soldier Field.
Founded in 2008 by Jamie Pritscher-Tomaino, co-founder & CEO, That’s Caring creates curated gift boxes for businesses looking to recognize employees, clients and special occasions while supporting children facing food insecurity. The company combines corporate gifting with a give-back model centered on sustainability, ethical products and community impact.
“Being selected as a Small Business All-Pro will help us introduce more businesses to a better way to give. Every new customer doesn’t just send a thoughtful gift, they also help provide meals to children facing food insecurity,” said Pritscher-Tomaino. “The visibility and mentorship from the 2026 Small Business All-Pros, presented by PNC program will help us grow our business, build new partnerships and ultimately provide even more meals to children who need them most.”
That’s Caring began with the belief that a gift could make an impact on more than just the person receiving it. The company initially focused on providing an ethical and environmentally conscious alternative to traditional gifting, prioritizing sustainable products and responsible business practices.
In 2013, the company expanded its mission after Pritscher-Tomaino learned more about childhood food insecurity across the country. From there, childhood food insecurity became a central focus of the business, with purchases helping support weekend backpack programs that provide children with access to meals when they are away from school.
Today, That’s Caring partners with more than 26 Feeding America food banks across the country. The company has helped provide 89,827 weekend bags, equivalent to more than 538,957 meals, to children facing food insecurity. Its first and largest food bank partner is the Northern Illinois Food Bank, extending that impact to families throughout the local community.
“Strong communities are built by organizations that see a need and take action,” said Scott Swanson, PNC regional president for Chicago. “PNC Bank is honored to join the Chicago Bears in recognizing That’s Caring and helping bring greater visibility to the important work they are doing across our community.”
The company has continued to expand its impact by working with brands that share its commitment to responsible giving and by featuring ethical, sustainable and charitable products throughout its gift offerings. Through those partnerships, That’s Caring looks to extend the impact of each purchase beyond the recipient while helping businesses strengthen relationships with employees, clients and partners.
That’s Caring’s selection reflects the Small Business All-Pros program’s focus on recognizing local businesses that demonstrate entrepreneurial growth, community impact and a strong connection to the Chicagoland region.
