Denver Pride announced the headliners for the PrideFest Center Stage, PlayHaus Kickoff Party, and PlayHaus Dance Party.
DENVER — One of the five largest Pride festivals in the country is preparing to celebrate its 52nd anniversary in Denver.
Denver Pride events will be held from Friday, June 26, to Sunday, June 28, at venues in downtown Denver. Organizers are planning a parade, 5K race and live performances. The Denver PrideFest is Sunday, June 28.
The Center on Colfax, the event’s organizer, said Denver Pride proceeds support year-round programs, from mental health services and youth programming to resources for trans individuals and older adults.
PlayHaus Kickoff Party
The PlayHaus Kickoff Party at Fillmore Auditorium on Friday, June 26, opens the weekend on the dance floor with Honey Dijon and DJ Minx.
Denver Pride 5K
The Denver Pride 5K is open to runners, walkers and rollers on Saturday, June 27, at 9 a.m. at Cheesman Park. Registration is available online.
PlayHaus Dance Party
A new addition to Denver Pride is the PlayHaus Dance Party on Saturday, June 27, at The Junkyard. The music festival brings electric energy for a celebration of LGBTQ+ music and dancing. Performers include Pabllo Vittar, Saucy Santana, Shermanology, and Matt Suave.
Denver Pride Parade
The Denver Pride Parade will step off at 9:30 a.m. Sunday, June 28, traveling on 17th Street from Franklin Street to Lincoln Street.
Denver PrideFest
The Denver PrideFest festival celebration will be on 16th Street in downtown Denver on Sunday, June 28, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The event is free to attend.
Denver Pride announced the headliners for the PrideFest’s Center Stage on June 28 include “Ru Paul’s Drag Race” finalist Nini Coco, drag icon Pattie Gonia, and Nigerian-American drag king King Molasses.
