The Evanston Public Library is seeking local entrepreneurs, artists, makers, food vendors and small business owners to participate in its Culture & Commerce Market from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 29, at the Robert Crown Community Center, located at 1801 Main St.
The outdoor event will celebrate National Black Business Month and Hispanic Heritage Month by showcasing Black and Latino-owned businesses.
The market will feature food, handmade goods, art, clothing, professional services and family-friendly entertainment.
Local businesses interested in participating are encouraged to complete the vendor application by Friday, Aug. 7. Vendor spaces are limited.
