Hartford-based real estate investment company Staypoint has acquired a fully leased, 77,768-square-foot industrial building in Enfield for $8.125 million, land records show.
Scott Swamp Property LLC, controlled by Staypoint founder Joseph A. Sullo, purchased 90 Phoenix Ave. on Oct. 21 from Hanover Hall Limited Partnership, which is controlled by prominent Norwalk-based real estate development and investment firm Spinnaker Real Estate Partners, according to town land records and state business filings.
The building, constructed in 1975, sits on 88.78 acres adjacent to Interstate 91, according to assessor records. It is fully leased to Manufacturing Product Systems, also known as MP Systems, Staypoint said in announcing the deal.
The company said the property offers potential for future expansion. The seller paid $5 million for it in 1999, assessor records show.
The acquisition follows Staypoint’s $3.6 million sale of a former Raytheon data center at 25 Holly Drive in Newington to an affiliate of the CCSU Foundation earlier this month.
