The Cincinnati Bengals didn’t come in near the top of many things in the 2025 season. The offense was fine, while the defense was bad, and no players won any awards. All in all, it wasn’t a remarkable season, but the Bengals did end the season in the top five of a not-so-great category.

According to Action Network, the Bengals checked in as the fourth-most fined team in the NFL last season, shelling out $547,841 in fines over the 2025 campaign.

These fines are for either player suspensions, unsportsmanlike conduct, or for hits determined illegal or dangerous by the NFL. That amount was across six infractions handed down to players on the Bengals’ roster.

The one-game suspension of wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase for spitting on Pittsburgh Steelers’ cornerback Jalen Ramsey was one of the largest fines of the entire season, with Chase missing a game and forfeiting $507,156 for the incident. Chase himself was the third-most fined player in the NFL.

The only teams fined more than the Bengals were the Washington Commanders ($1,495,670), Pittsburgh Steelers ($749,747), and San Francisco 49ers ($715,875).

Fines in the NFL were down 30% from 2024, but the Bengals still made it in to the top five leaguewide.
