Storms moving through the region Tuesday brought isolated showers, lightning and strong winds.
SAN ANTONIO — Fast-moving storms brought lightning and strong wind gusts that knocked out power for thousands CPS Energy customers in the San Antonio area Tuesday afternoon.
At one point there were nearly 8,000 customers experiencing outages simultaneously. Thanks to the work of CPS Energy crews, that number was down to fewer than 600 by 10 p.m.
