Former UFC fighter, Paige Vanzant appears to have made up her mind to compete at Dana White’s PowerSlap. Vanzant was one of the biggest stars in the MMA during her reign in UFC but things went downhill after she lost against Rose Namajunas. Out of her last 5 five fights under the UFC, she only won 2. After retiring from UFC, she joined BKFC but even at that young promotion, Vanzant was unable to leave any mark, and now it seems she is willing to get into PowerSlap which seems to have irked Joe Rogan.

The multi-million dollar podcaster has simple advice for her, “Don’t do it, Paige”, said Rogan in his latest podcast. He further added, “Unless she makes a deal where [she says] ‘I get to slap first.’ Can you do that? Can you say ‘I’ll fight you, but I get to slap first?”

Well, Vanzant should seriously consider Rogan’s advice as unlike MMA, there’s no defense in PowerSlap. talking about defense, Arman Tsarukyan seems to be in trouble for his title run, why, let us find out.

Arman Tsarukyan might have to wait to clash against Islam Makhachev

What was supposed to be a glorious run at the lightweight title for Arman Tsarukyan seems to have a bit of trouble right now as the Armenian appears to be tangled in 9 months’ suspension by the NSAC along with a fine of f $25000 (+$471.12 in fees). Tsarukyan fought at the UFC 300 against Charles Oliveira and won that bout propelling him to the number one contender title but while he was walking to the Octagon, he beat a fan and the commission took cognizance of the breach.

Per Arman Tsarukyan’s manager @dannyrube, Arman will do the PSA with Nevada to reduce suspension to six months, meaning he’ll be eligible by Oct. 12.

The commission has fined as well as suspended him for 9 months but according to MMA journalist, Brett Okamoto, there’s a loophole to it as well, “Per Arman Tsarukyan’s manager @dannyrube, Arman will do the PSA with Nevada to reduce the suspension to six months, meaning he’ll be eligible by Oct. 12,” wrote Okamoto on X.

He further added, “Arman appreciates the NSAC’s dealings in this matter and looks forward to working with the UFC and NSAC to produce an anti-bullying PSA to reduce his suspension and competing for a UFC Lightweight Title before the end of the year.” Tsarukyan will have to provide a video to lessen his suspension. Well, Tsarukyan might be cooked but Conor McGregor seems to be getting support out of nowhere from his former rival.

Nate Diaz supports Conor McGregor amid the UFC 303 dilemma

Conor McGregor was supposed to face Michael Chandler at the UFC 303. It was supposed to be his comeback but he had to withdraw from the clash as he injured his pinky toe just days ahead of the bout. His withdrawal from the clash had some negative as well as positive takes on the MMA community.

It would be fair to say that the entire community was divided on it. After Joe Rogan, Nate Diaz has openly come forward to support McGregor for his withdrawal.  I think it’s just a minor thing, I think they’re making a bigger deal out of it than it is. Good idea, if I get f*cked up I would like to push the fight back too but people would f*cking freak out,” said Diaz in an interview with MMAJunkie.
