BUFFALO, N.Y. — Some severe weather came and went on Saturday evening, but not before allowing some people to capture a magnificent rainbow or two, both with their eyes and with their cameras.
2 On Your Side meteorologist Dan Russell is among those people, taking this video of a double rainbow in Buffalo. As he put it, “Sunset combined with a round of passing storms led to this beautiful double rainbow.”
The National Weather Service had issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for Erie, Niagara, Chautauqua, Cattaraugus, Wyoming, Genesee, and Orleans counties until 11 p.m. Saturday. Some locations had a warning for a period of time.
Here’s a small sample of the photos that 2 On Your Side received from viewers across Western New York.
