If your idea of holiday cheer does not include wrestling with a frozen turkey or scrubbing roasting pans until New Year’s, you’re in excellent company. Luckily, San Antonio restaurants are open on Christmas Day, serving brunch spreads, steakhouse feasts, River Walk views, and more festive fixings than an overly ambitious Pinterest board.

375 Social Kitchen
This Selma restaurant is known for its cross-cultural dishes like a bao bun stuffed with beef birria and breakfast fried rice. If going for a Yuletide breakfast, order the indulgent cinnamon roll French toast for the table.

Boudro’s Texas Bistro
A longtime River Walk staple since 1986, Boudro’s blends South Texas flavors with refined bistro cooking. Christmas Day diners can enjoy signature tableside guacamole, the restaurant’s famous prickly pear margaritas, and a menu designed to pair with selections from its extensive wine cellar.

Brenner’s on the River Walk
The newest Brenner’s location brings classic steakhouse elegance to the River Walk, complete with sweeping views from its three-story dining room. Chef’s Christmas features will be offered alongside the signature menu, including braised short rib, Gulf red snapper, and pan-seared salmon.

Casa Catrina
This Día de los Muertos–themed River Walk favorite serves bold Mexican flavors all day, including charred octopus, cochinita pibil tacos, ceviches, campechana cocktails, and huitlacoche quesadillas. The bar features standout margaritas and craft cocktails, including a mezcal martini accented with marigold flowers.

Cavalier
The restaurant at the Intercontinental San Antonio Riverwalk dishes out a lavish Christmas brunch including chef-attended stations, a seafood display, breakfast classics, festive entrées, house-made pastries, and seasonal desserts. Pricing is $85 for adults, $35 for children ages 4–11, and free for children 3 and under. One mimosa per adult and complimentary parking are included.

Domingo
The signature restaurant inside the Canopy by Hilton hotel downtown is accepting Christmas Day reservations. The menu features South Texas-inspired classics like hatch chili queso, cochinita pibil tacos, and tuna tostadas.
