It’s part of a national effort that shelters in 44 states are participating in.
SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio families considering bringing a furry member home this summer can do it for cheaper the rest of July.
Several agencies have joined a BISSELL Pet Foundation effort to empty the country’s shelters by reducing adoptions fees to just $25, including spay/neuter surgery, initial vaccines and microchipping.
The participating shelters are:
- San Antonio Pets Alive! – 4710 State Highway 151
- San Antonio Pets Alive! – 9107 Marbach Road
- San Antonio Pets Alive! – 6001 Northwest Loop 410
- San Antonio Human Society – 4804 Fredericksburg Road
- Animal Defense League of Texas – 11215 Iota Drive
- Universal City Animal Care – 2510 Pat Booker Road
- Cibolo Animal Services – 108 Cibolo Drive
- Human Society of New Braunfels Area – 3353 Morningside Drive
