PHOENIX — Taroko Sports, a high-tech batting cage facility and entertainment venue, is set to open its second Valley location in Chandler later this month.

The 18,273-square-foot entertainment complex’s ribbon cutting will be at 10:45 a.m. next Saturday at The Shoppes at Casa Paloma, located off of 54th and Harrison streets.

This will bring the flagship brand of Taroko USA and wholly-owned subsidiary of TRK Corporation to three locations in the United States.

The Chandler location will be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

“Our new location in Chandler represents the evolution of what Taroko Sports can be,” TRK Corporation CEO Gordon Hsieh said in an announcement. “As one of Arizona’s few 24/7 sports entertainment venues, we’re proud to offer the Valley a place where the game never stops and the fun is always available.”

Details on Taroko Sports’ 2nd Valley location in Chandler

The grand opening for the Chandler location will run from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The first 50 guests at the ribbon cutting will receive a free $25 game card. All guests who make purchases of more than $25 will also receive $10 game cards for them to use in the future.

In addition, both Arizona locations will offer 50% off all batting cage use, games and attractions from Nov. 8 to Nov. 16.

Compared to the Mesa entertainment complex, the Chandler location is larger, has added arcade options and two virtual batting bays — which provide real-time hitting statistics and ball trajectory.

In addition, the batting cages are equipped with advanced tracking technology that provides guests with performance analytics and have interactive scoring systems.

The other attractions offered will include mini bowling lanes, electronic dartboards, immersive 5D racing simulators, classic arcade games, first-person shooter gaming stations, basketball pop-a-shot, specialized full-scale basketball shooting challenges, pitching cages and air hockey tables.

Taroko Sports uses a tap-to-play card system. The cards are available for purchase and can be reloaded at the self-service kiosks as well as the front desk.

The food offered will consist of items like pizza, wings and other casual bites. There are reportedly plans to add a bar with a selection of bottled beer and wine.
