AND, MATT, I’M SURE FANS WERE PRETTY HAPPY TO SEE THAT. I MEAN, KATIE, THERE ARE SO MANY FANS STILL FLOCKING TO THE GARDEN, BASKING IN THE GLORY OF THIS LATEST BOSTON CHAMPIONSHIP. THE PHOTOS WERE FLYING OUTSIDE THE GARDEN THIS MORNING WITH PHOTOGRAPHERS OF ALL SKILL LEVELS CAPTURING THE BRAND NEW MASSIVE BANNER HONORING THE HOMETOWN HEROES. OH MY GOD, THAT IS COOL. OH MAN, I THINK IT’S BEAUTIFUL. IT’S GREAT, YOU KNOW? YEAH. YOU KNOW, SO SOMERSWORTH IS PRIDE. THAT BANNER IS AWESOME. BUT I THE ONE I WANT TO SEE IS THE ONE IN INSIDE OF THE STADIUM. BOSTONIANS WILL LIKELY HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL THE START OF NEXT SEASON TO SEE BANNER NUMBER 18 HANGING FROM THE RAFTERS, BUT CAN CELEBRATE ONCE AGAIN ON FRIDAY WHEN THE PLAYERS WILL LOAD UP INTO DUCK BOATS FOR A ROLLING RALLY CHAMPIONSHIP PARADE. OH, IT’S GOING TO BE CRAZY. YEAH, ARLINGTON. I’LL SNEAK OUT OF WORK. I’LL TEN, EVEN THOUGH I’LL BE LIKE 85 DEGREES. YOU KNOW, IT GOT TO PARTICIPATE IN THE, UH, THE BOSTON MADNESS ALREADY. SIGNS ARE GOING UP OF THE PARKING AND TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS THAT WILL BE IN PLACE. THE PARADE WILL START AT 11 A.M. OUTSIDE THE GARDEN, AND SNAKE ITS WAY THROUGH THE CITY BEFORE ENDING NEAR THE HYNES CONVENTION CENTER. CITY LEADERS EXPECTING MORE THAN 1 MILLION FANS TO SHOW UP AND SHOW OUT FOR THE NBA FRANCHISE THAT NOW HAS MORE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS THAN ANY OTHER TEAM. I’M HAPPY WE BROUGHT BRAGGING RIGHTS BACK AND WE NEEDED THIS. WE NEEDED IT, AND I’M SO HAPPY TO BE A PART OF IT NOW. WHEN IT COMES TO THE PARADE ON FRIDAY, CITY LEADERS ARE ENCOURAGING EVERYONE TO TAKE PUBLIC TRANSIT. BECAUSE OF THAT, THE MBTA IS INCREASING SUBWAY SERVICE AND THE COMMUTER RAIL IS ADDING TRAINS BEFORE AND AFTER THE PARADE. REPORTING LIVE OUTSIDE THE GARDEN. MATT REE
