In the third episode of “Chicago This Week,” it’s pet adoption season and shelters across the city are working to find animals new homes. Take a look at how one adoption center is making a unique effort to boost adoptions. Plus, an increase in teen takeovers is being seen across Chicago. We spoke with city officials about how the problem can come to an end. And you’ve probably seen tulips blooming all over the city, but can you guess who plants them?
“Chicago This Week” is an hourlong show featuring news, sports, business and entertainment stories from around Chicago. All the producing, reporting, writing, shooting and editing are done by Medill graduate students. “Chicago This Week” airs on CAN-TV, Ch. 21, at 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. Fridays and 7 p.m. Sundays.
