Vantor has new leadership for its U.S. government business, appointing Will Cocos as executive vice president and general manager to lead the company’s business in U.S. defense, intelligence and civil government communities.

Cocos, a former U.S. Navy SEAL officer, has been with Vantor for three years, serving as the company’s chief transformation officer. He is credited with driving growth in Vantor’s international business, including supporting partners and customers in conflict zones.

Susanne Hake, who led Vantor’s U.S. government business for three years, confirmed in a LinkedIn statement she left the company and has a new role in the national security arena.

Vantor, formerly Maxar Intelligence, was renamed in October of 2025 to reflect its broader focus beyond satellite imagery to being an end-to-end spatial intelligence company. The company cites that it contributes to 90% of the foundational geospatial intelligence used by the U.S. government.

Vantor CEO said that Cocos brings a combination of firsthand operational experience and transformation leadership to the role. ““He understands what it means to rely on intelligence in high-consequence environments, and he knows how to turn strategy and advanced technology into capabilities that work in the real world. Vantor already plays a critical role across U.S. government missions. Will is the right leader to build on that position, deepen our customer partnerships and ensure our technology translates into decision advantage.”
